Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

Investigation of the top-layer of the soft, gas-bearing sediments of E kernforde Bay with acoustic remote sensing instruments (side scan sonar, 3.5 kHz subbottom profiler, chirp sonar, ASCS: Acoustic sediment classification system, Boo- mer) and ground truth samples taken by boxcorer, gravity corer for geological, sedi- mentologic, biologic, geotechnic and geochemical analysis.
