Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
To collect samples for reconstructing the short-term Quaternary variability of monsoonal climate in Southeast Asia. To investigate the long-term Neogene history of monsoon-controlled sedimentation on the continental margin of South China by means of seismic stratigraphy.
