Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Observation of the pattern of stratification and currents in the Baltic Sea, to understand the response of the Belt Sea to both local and remote forcing and the transformation of water masses between the Great Belt and the Darss Sill. To obtain a data set for model initialisation and validation.
