Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The studies encompass: A) The eastern boundary flow along the West-Eu- ropean continental slope. B) The circulation of the North Atlantic around 46N and 32W. C) The vertical particle flux of carbon and associated elements out of the eu- photic zone down to the deep ocean. D) Particle aggregation and sedimentation by means of natural radionuclides.
