Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Investigations on the skin-bulk sea surface temp. (SST) relationship for the estimation of the heat flux in comparison with corresponding data of satellites (AVH- RR, ERS-1). These activities are carried out in co-operation with the Institute for Remote Sensing Applications (IRSA) / ISPRA/ITALY by means of infrared radio- meters in the range 8-14 qm in order to identify fronts.
