Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

Continuing a long-term research project to investigate the mass budget of the South Atlantic during the late Quaternary. Main tasks of m23/3: Recovering and deploying sediment-trap moorings, collection of sediment material, measuring of Parasound profiles, collecting water samples for trace-metal measurements.
