Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The cruise was devoted to the study of the ventilation of the deep waters of the Greenland Sea as a part of the European Subpolar Ocean Programme (ESOP). The main purpose was to carry out a CTD survey in the Greenland Sea. In addition a minor biologal programme which aimed at the study of zooplankton was included and also several moorings were to be deployed and retrieved.
