Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Study of the watermasses and heat-exchange at the entrance of the Arabian Sea during the summer monsoon. Investigation of the outflow of the Somali current region to the north and the upwelling region off Oman. Hydrographic and tracer measurements. Vertical velocity profiling with ADCP mounted on the CTD-frame.
