Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Studies of the Mediterranean Ridge accretionary complex and its Forelands in selected areas: bathymetry, relief, subbottom structures, coring at exposed positions to sample sediments of phases of tectonic instabilities. Seismic refraction meas. along a SW-NE cross section of MR. Continuous gravity and magnetic survey. Coring for Technochronology during Quaternary time.
