Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Equipment tests. A recently developed towed CTD chain was extended to 600m length. Forces and action of different depressors were measured at different speeds. Signal amplitudes and signal forms along the towing cable were dis- played. The deck unit was optimized for high supply currents. An LS2000 CTD was tested with different temperature sensors.
