Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Baltic monitoring cruise in the framework of HELCOM. Marine meteorological, hydrographic, chemical and biological investigations were carried out. Special attention was paid to the spreading out of the highly saline and oxygenated water which entered the Baltic Sea in January 1993 and to the development and distribution of the cyanobacteria.
