Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

Investigations of the turbidity zone in the Elbe in order to describe the biogeochemical processes. Transects were combined with an anchor station in the maximum turbidity zone, lasting for 6 days. This cruise was also used to install 2 mesocosms, including sediment and water, for experiments scheluded for summer 1992.
