Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The main objective was to measure the flow of water from the Argentine Basin to the Brazil Basin through the Hunter Channel, present and over the past several hundred thousend years using a combination of CTD stations, detailed bathymetric surveys (hydrosweep) and sediment cores. A biological sampling programme of the upper 200m was also carried out during this leg.
