Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

From a total of five intended cruises to study: net transport balances in the Mediterranean Water outflow area and contributions of intermediate slope currents. Variations in space and time of the system of Eastern Boundary currents including the Portugal/Canary current. Radiometer calibration work for the European Remote Sensing Satellite (ERS-1).
