Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

The cruise served to gather new data on water physics and chemistry,plankton productivity,benthos activity and sediment distribution. Special studies were related to the distribution and ecology of sponges. Geological on-board investigations included acoustic stratigraphy,sediment lithology and geochemistry
