Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Valdivia cruise No 38 led to the "Norderpiep" ( off Eiderstedt peninsula) in the inner German Bight. Objectives were the development of sampling strategies and quantitative macrofauna sampling within the frame of the ZISCH Project (Circulation of Pollutants in the North Sea). The cruise started and ended in Hamburg. Station work was restricted to the area of 54? 12,8`N, 08?22E.
