Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The investigations during the SO-25 cruise in the Central Pacific were concentrated on three areas SE of Hawaii within the nodule belt between the Clarion and Clipperton Fracture Zone. The survey of each area started with seabeam and hull-mounted subbottom profiling. 376 geological stations were sampled with corers, grabs and dredges.
